Finally, I finished Mara's new reference sheet!  (Moderate mature filter on, just to be safe. Even if you don't see anything. ) Forgot to add her scars but whatevs, lol.

What's important is that she's become noticably thinner than she used to be in the past. I have a two-panel comic prepared for that as well, I'll add it for you guys at a later point though.


 MARA THE FIERCE, DAUGHTER OF NY'GAUN

Age: ca. 350 years

Height: ca. 3 meters | ca. 9,85 feet

Personality: used to be hot-headed and had an explosive temper, became more calm and collected after her injury; great sense of responsibility; reliable, helpful and used to be pretty sadistic at times, but is not anymore; tries to be more understanding, especially when it comes to different species and their cultures and traditions

After the unfaithful incident with the old clan mother Ira'ga-tash, matriarch of the Ira'toh, who injured her so badly that it changed her life for the worse, Mara came to the decision to willingly leave her father's clan, the Ny'Gaun Thwei, as well as her own which she led with her twin sister Sa'Yen for many, many decades, to embark on her personal journey to enlightenment and peace. Due to her injuries, her body has become weak and incapable of keeping up with her fellow hunters and huntresses, and her own clan deems her not fit to be their matriarch anymore. This, naturally, posed a huge let-down for her and pulled her down into what can almost be considered a depression. That was when she chose to leave the world of the Yautja hunters behind, to distance herself from their culture and traditions and take the chance to learn about new species, new people and new worlds on her pilgrimage. 
In my mind, Mara was always one to become more open-minded towards other species, their cultures, traditions, language, etc. Like, she actually understands the basic language spoken throughout the entire universe, and she reads it just fine as well. (Which means that, when Blue was brought to Ny'Gaun's clan, Mara was one of the very few who didn't need a translator because she understood what Blue was saying.) However, because of her position as a clan leader, she was never able to like, get into it more. With this new story, where she basically loses all of her responsibilities as a matriarch, she finally finds the time and focus to expand her horizon in terms of all that. 
Of course, she would never travel to the unknown unprepared. Blue, whom she leads a sort of love/hate relationship with, and the Kepajaari Alexander von Blendenberg are her advisors. I have a particular set of worlds in mind for Mara's spin-off. Usually, MadKittyCat's and my outcast Yautja (e.g. Skau, Uria) move around mainly on "Rat's Nests", small worlds that are the haven for all sorts of criminals, you know, where there's no law and order. Mara, however, is not going to be bothered to seek out trash worlds like these, instead she's actually gonna look for worlds where the intergalactic federation rules. Which also means, to not be classified as an outlaw anymore, she volunteered to register herself and had a passport made. She remembers well what happened with Lillith and the ICER; that disaster had only been possible because Mara had not been registered and basically had no identity, in other words, she was an outlaw to the federation and they didn't give two sh*ts about her. She doesn't want anything like that happen to her again, so this is her way of going around it. 
Blue and Alexander will be the ones to tell her about the lifestyle led on registered worlds, about how people behave there and what things Mara needs to avoid. This is what her story will be about - the challenges of life outside the Yautjan society. Mara will learn about things like money, getting a job and media attention. Imagine the movie Paul, but less extreme. That's basically what this story's gonna be like.
